There are fascinating
old churches in "Altenkirchen", "Wiek" and "Vitt".
In the village of "Vitt" is a small eight cornered chapel originally for the islands fishermen, who in the herring season had to stay close to their boats. The chapel was designed by "Schinkel". Close by lies the "Rügenhof" in "Putgarten" where "Rügen´s" famous ceramics can be viewed and purchased. Pottery courses are available here. |
